Triangle Weavers is pleased to offer a scholarship program for our members.
Policies:
- Scholarships are available to active members only.
- Scholarships are valid for beginning-level classes only.
- Up to two scholarships will be awarded for each class on a first come, first served basis.
- Important: Receiving a scholarship does not guarantee you a spot in the class. Recipients are responsible for registering for the class once registration is open. Spots in a class are on a first come first served basis, and it is important to keep in mind that classes can fill quickly.
- Applications must be received at least two weeks prior to the class opening date. For example, if a class opens for registration on December 12, scholarship applications must be received no later than November 28.
- A scholarship will cover 80% of the class tuition. The recipient will be responsible for the remaining balance and for any material fees.
- Scholarships are not being awarded for workshops at this time.
- Members are eligible to receive a scholarship once every other year.
- Applications for a scholarship will be done via the website and are class specific.
- Applicants will receive an email informing if a scholarship has been awarded. For recipients it will include a code to use when registering for the class.
- When scholarship funds are exhausted, no further funds will be available until
the next fiscal year.
