This is a cotton scarf woven on a rigid heddle loom with a 10 dent heddle.  The inspiration fiber was spun (by Pattie Lamb) with analogous blue colors.  I created a wrap with blues and greens and picked two complementary orange hues.  For my second wrap I experimented with Fibonacci numbers to create the warp sequence.  Ultimately I decided to restrict the warp to the blues and greens, and those colors were repeated in the weft along with touches of the two orange hues for accents.
