I made this runner in Warp Rep for a friend’s birthday.  Her home has gray walls with lots of artwork in bold colors which I used for my inspiration, taking me far outside my usual range of colors.    The warp is 8 colors of 5/2 perle cotton; the thick weft is 4 strands of black Peaches & Creme cotton and the thin weft is one strand of black 10/2 perle cotton.   While I borrowed ideas for arranging the blocks from a number of examples I found on the internet, the final design of blocks and color selections were my own.
